What is holistic pediatric Occupational Therapy?

We take a uniquely holistic approach to therapeutic intervention.

We believe...

Each child is as unique as the family he or she comes from.  Individualized Occupational Therapy treatment should always build on the strengths and interests of each child. Best practice strategies will naturally build a child’s confidence while improving skills like handwriting, fine and gross motor coordination, sensory processing, self regulation, body awareness, attention, visual motor processing, daily living skills, postural control, behaviors, and muscle strength.

We believe...

The learning environment matters.  A therapeutic treatment space should never overwhelm the senses. The treatment space should be inviting to family members and comfortable for the children we serve. Treatment is offered in school, in your home, or in our calming, clean and uncluttered clinic.

We believe...

That parents should be able to easily obtain information to help their child.  If you have any concerns about your child's development, call (203) 554-0260, and ask to speak to Amanda to help determine whether your child would benefit therapeutic intervention.e take a uniquely holistic approach to therapeutic intervention.
